If you coming down to Orlando Florida for a week or longer vacation, you're probably going to go through some of the same issues that we went through. I would start early, and do a lot of planning for your trip. Most people should take the time to get to know the opportunities when you stay on disney property, from the value resorts like Pop Century up to the fancy places like the Dolphin Resort. Once you have an idea of what those particular rental properties cost per night, then you have some a good comparison to work off of. Take a good look at everything that's near International Drive, the tourist area where the fun is. I would take a hard look at the vacation homes in the area but do it with extreme caution. When you're looking at a large hotel, you pretty much know by the brand name what kind of Cleanliness and overall expectation you should have. Individual homes are maintained by the homeowner themselves or perhaps they have a property management team. Look closely at the photos and videos of the property, especially the bathroom. There's nothing worse than renting a place and finding some mildew or stains in the bathroom. If you pick one of the Disney properties or for instance the Marriott Resort chain, you will be all smiles. A nice home experience is both Caribe Royale and Sheraton Vistana Villages, as both rent sweet 2-bedroom condominium-style units.
