I would give this park a very high rating, especially if you go on a nice day when the kids are in school. One thing about everything in Orlando, you want to do it when all of the local schoolchildren are sitting in their chairs in the classroom! You can do a search for the Orlando school system schedule ocps.net, or maybe it's Orange County school schedule. Make sure you book your events when the kids are doing their algebra and you will have Big Smiles on when at the theme parks. I really don't mind the line so much but what it means is I'm not standing in them, so some of the rides I will not go on. With the fastpass system you can certainly do four or five major rides and of course do not miss Dinoland and Everest Rollercoaster. You can start out yourself and your children on the Best Whirlybird Riding Rollercoaster, which is a little bit smaller and easier on your brain. I'm sure glad they put this Walt Disney fun zone on this side of town because it's close to Tampa and easy for us to get over here on the weekends. Sometimes we stay at All-Star Music Resort, because it's cheaper we like to stay at orlandohistoricinn.com and some of the other places around town. There are many good hotels that are close to the Animal Kingdom Park so you don't have to drive far to get here for the opening ceremonies each morning.
