Shopping near the Theme Parks is getting better with the new complex on International Drive. This is a Good One, because everything is walkable including a zillion a restaurants in the area. This is a place where you can elevate your activities and find new things.
I go here mainly for the wonderful Dining Experience at the restaurants, and then we can browse around and look at the shops and try to find some Disney gifts. There is definitely a very diverse collection of excellent Shopping opportunities along the International Drive part of town. This is the kind of zone where you will have a bargain world shop and right next to it would be something like the Yard House bar and what could be better than a BB King's restaurant on the second floor for the late-night party. They did a good job by making it really pretty so you want to stay longer enjoying the area and the view.
You can take the I-Ride Trolley all around the area for five dollars a day. It's open seven days a week and Sunday the hours are from noon to eight pm with longer hours all of the rest of the week. Don't forget to walk over and look at the Orlando Eye, which is extremely close by the Shopping Mall section and the Tin Roof bar. Good for the people near Disney is this place when you want something to do away from the theme parks.
