The property looks like Yellowstone National Park's Old Faithful Inn, which is was designed after. Lots of granite flagstone and giant lodgepole pines were brought in from the west to re-create an authentic look. The music played throughout the resort brings back the feeling of the Old West.
Native American culture is found throughout the hotel, even around the huge Swimming Pool. What a cool place to stay for a nice little vacation in Orlando. We've always wanted to come down here because there's so many things to do in central Florida.
The Chamber of Commerce does a lot of advertising to people up north and it just bombard you with the idea of coming down for a Disney trip. Mickey Mouse has a good home if you pick this hotel.

Transportation to and from the Wilderness Lodge is offered through the Boat Dock and the bus depot. In a hurry, get the grab and go sandwiches and chips. Refillable mugs are available for purchase and we like the deal. The lobby is home to an eighty-foot-tall fireplace which is a must see.
