We always stay at Marriott because they have the best cancellation policy if something goes wrong and you need to change plans. I typically get the Springhill Suites because they are the value oriented type hotel and it's perfect if you just staying one or Two Nights. We are coming up for Christmas vacation and we want to have more of a kitchen so this time I think were going to go to the Residence Inn hotel group which is a Marriott controlled business. Wherever you go in Orlando it's going to be nice because this is one beautiful city.
I made the first reservation at the marriott.com Residence Inn with a kitchen for December twenty four and 25th. The address is 270 douglas avenue Altamonte Springs which is a nice area, with lots within walking distance. This is a suite with one king bed and one sleeper sofa, plus the full kitchen! I am going to work on the Melbourne Residence Inn and see if I can get that booked. We are staying at a level three rewards stay this time, an upgrade over the level one places before, and they were nice. I zoomed in using google maps and there is a wing house bar right next to the hotel. Very close is Altamonte Springs mall altamontemall.com, amigo's tex Mexican, and chipolte grill. There is even a bowling alley next to the room, which is way cool. For Disney folks, go with the Art of Animation Resort or All-Star Music Resort.
